Welcome to the website of the Russian Cultural Center (RCC).

The RCC opened in Tel Aviv on October 10, 2007 , and is one of 85 foreign representations of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation.

The main tasks of the RCC is to promote Russian culture and the arts, support the study and teaching of the Russian language, to relay prompt and objective information to the Israelis about the most important events of the external and internal policy of Russia, promoting the implementation of the joint Russian-Israeli programs in the humanitarian, cultural, scientific, technical and educational fields.

We are proud of the huge contribution of the Jews in World War I and the Russian culture, seeking to preserve and enhance it.
In this regard, we welcome the cooperation of creative teams who came from the USSR, the CIS, as well as all the musicians, singers, writers and artists and who started new careers in Israel.

The RCC team is doing its best to present an interesting program in a relaxed athmosphere to our valued visitors.

     The Tula State Pedagogical University L. N. Tolstoy invites citizens of foreign States, who adequately speak the Russian language, to participate in the international essay competition "Russian language and education in Russia. What does this mean for my career? ".

    ATTENTION ! - THE CULTURAL FESTIVAL "RUSSIAN MOSAIC" Astrakhan (Russia) - Ashkelon (Israel) - July 8, 9, 10 has been CANCELLED and will be rescheduled for other dates.

    Due to the unexpectedly developed force majeure situation and in accordance with the instructions of the home front from July 7, 2014, in connection with the resumption of active hostilities in the Gaza Strip and the inability to ensure the safety of the civilian population in the cities located within a 40-kilometer radius of Gaza, including Ashkelon, Ashdod, Netivot, Beersheba, mass actions in open and closed areas are prohibited !

    		5 July 2014 - Radio REKA , Voice of Israel Children Broadcast

    On 5 July 2014 another Russian language broadcast of the children program "one-word, two-words " by Radio Reka "Voice of Israel" moderated by Viktoria Dolinskayaa in cooperation with the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv,was dedicated to the Russian children's writer Eduard Uspensky.

    Dr. Tatiana Yatsyuk, heading the linguistics section of the RCC and Viktoria Dolinskaya conducted the interactive Russian language lesson, which included poetry and songs from famous cartoons from Eduard Uspensky's books and scripts, and which are included in the Golden Fund of the Soviet and Russian animation-"Plasticine Crow", "Crocodile Gena and Cheburashka", "Vacation in buttermilk village".

    Young listeners answered live questions about the children hereo's favorite of many generations,: Uncle Gena, the Crocodile, Fodore and his friends.

    According to tradition the winners received children's books in Russian from the RCC and the "Isradon" publishing house.

    The art director of the Israeli Center of children's creativity Irina Deutsch and participants of XIII international Olympiad on Russian language in Moscow, Maria Ulyantseva and A. Sannikov. also took part in the broadcast.


    		4 July 2014 - Matinee for sick children and their parents
    at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv

    A group of Israeli Russian-language volunteers "Timur and his team" continues to support children from Russia and the CIS countries, who are being treated for various diseases in Israeli hospitals and in need of moral support and attention.

    "Members" have prepared a hilarious performance by circus performers. The children participated in various contests with pleasure, watched in the cinema of the RCC a new cartoon and received gifts collected by the Israelis.








    Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-yugra is the largest oil and gas region of Russia, from here comes more than 50% of Russian oil. But this creates not only benefits, but also challenges for the region. The School will address all major problems of sustainable development of Yugra.

    "Prospects for sustained development of the oil-bearing Far North (Yugra) region"


    Students are invited to participate from all countries who study environmental management, geography, cultural studies, sociology, journalism. Enrollment is up to 1 May. The working language is English.
    The school program includes lectures, seminars, round tables with representatives of local authorities, the MEDIA, business, cultural and educational institutions. Every day there will be courses of Russian as a foreign language. The social and cultural program will include city tours, visits to the stands, oil fields and so on.

    Requirements for participants: -(SV) student Bachelor, master, graduate school;
    -age 18 years;
    -good knowledge of English;
    -interest in the themes of the summer school.

    The registration fee is € 950. This includes accommodation, meals, educational courses and excursions. The Yugor State University offers several scholarships in the amount of 50% of the registration fee.

    FREE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE COURSES
    for children and youngsters aged 7 to 14 years
    from Russian-speaking families.

    Classes are conducted by highly qualified teachers with many years of experience
    in teaching the Russian language in Israeli schools.
    Groups are formed according to the results of the interview.
    Frequency of sessions: once a week for 3 lessons
    (the duration of the lesson: 45 min.) subject to change. Hours: 17:00-19:35 - effective September, 2013.
