Welcome to the website of the Russian Cultural Center (RCC).

The RCC opened in Tel Aviv on October 10, 2007 , and is one of 85 foreign representations of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation.

The main tasks of the RCC is to promote Russian culture and the arts, support the study and teaching of the Russian language, to relay prompt and objective information to the Israelis about the most important events of the external and internal policy of Russia, promoting the implementation of the joint Russian-Israeli programs in the humanitarian, cultural, scientific, technical and educational fields.

We are proud of the huge contribution of the Jews in World War I and the Russian culture, seeking to preserve and enhance it.
In this regard, we welcome the cooperation of creative teams who came from the USSR, the CIS, as well as all the musicians, singers, writers and artists and who started new careers in Israel.

The RCC team is doing its best to present an interesting program in a relaxed athmosphere to our valued visitors.

"Prospects for sustained development of the oil-bearing Far North (Yugra) region"


Students are invited to participate from all countries who study environmental management, geography, cultural studies, sociology, journalism. Enrollment is up to 1 May. The working language is English.
The school program includes lectures, seminars, round tables with representatives of local authorities, the MEDIA, business, cultural and educational institutions. Every day there will be courses of Russian as a foreign language. The social and cultural program will include city tours, visits to the stands, oil fields and so on.

Requirements for participants: -(SV) student Bachelor, master, graduate school;
-age 18 years;
-good knowledge of English;
-interest in the themes of the summer school.

The registration fee is € 950. This includes accommodation, meals, educational courses and excursions. The Yugor State University offers several scholarships in the amount of 50% of the registration fee.

The task of the Festival is to give every child the opportunity to unleash their creativity and to demonstrate their skills and talent to a wider audience. Project participants do not compete with each other and pass a personal examination, in accordance with the age and abilities.

The Opening of the XXII Olympic Winter Games will take place at the "Fisht" Olympic Stadium , located in the Olympic Park. The stadium has a capacity for about 40 thousand guests who personally want to observe the opening of the XXII Olympic Winter Games.

THE OPENING CEREMONY THE XXII OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES IN SOCHI.

By long tradition, the opening and closing ceremonies of the games are always a colorful, memorable business card of the country that hosts the competitions.

A huge international team of specialists is involved on the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Sochi , staging one of the world's biggest shows (including the Olympic ceremonies), and the brightest stars of the Russian music scene will also participate.

The ceremony will last about three hours. The full schedule of the show, devoted to the opening of the Games, is classified as "secret", but it is now known that it is divided into nine parts, telling us about different periods of the Russian era, and will be held in three stages.

Wed 12 Feb. 2014 - 12:00 RCC cinema club "SREDA" presents the military drama film " STALINGRAD "

On 2 February 1943, 71 years ago the Red Army defeated the German forces at Stalingrad. In honor of this heroic Russian history date, the RCC Cinema Club will screen the feature film "Stalingrad" directed by Fyodor Bondarchuk (Russia, 2013).

The film is shown with English subtitles, allowing also those who do not speak Russian to watch it. Before the show the story about the creation of this movie will be told. After watching the movie, a discussion will follow.

The Military drama "Stalingrad" is the first Russian movie, filmed in the IMAX 3D format. The film was an Oscar nominee, and the winner of four "Golden Eagle" awards .

A film by Fyodor Bondarchuk is also recognized film distribution champion of Russia from 2013 onwards. The film was awarded the professional prize "blockbuster" , the award ceremony took place in Moscow on February 3. The film also won the nomination "the most cash revenue Russian film in foreign film distribution..

Cast: Petr Fyodorov, Maria Smolnikov, Aleksey Barabash, Andrej Smolyakov, Thomas Kretschmann, etc. The original score was written by the famous Italian composer Angelo Badalamenti (TV series "twin peaks"). The film also sounds the song "legend" of Viktor Tsoy in the White House.

FREE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE COURSES
for children and youngsters aged 7 to 14 years
from Russian-speaking families.

Classes are conducted by highly qualified teachers with many years of experience
in teaching the Russian language in Israeli schools.
Groups are formed according to the results of the interview.
Frequency of sessions: once a week for 3 lessons
(the duration of the lesson: 45 min.) subject to change. Hours: 17:00-19:35 - effective September, 2013.
