Welcome to the website of the Russian Cultural Center (RCC).

The RCC opened in Tel Aviv on October 10, 2007 , and is one of 85 foreign representations of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation.

The main tasks of the RCC is to promote Russian culture and the arts, support the study and teaching of the Russian language, to relay prompt and objective information to the Israelis about the most important events of the external and internal policy of Russia, promoting the implementation of the joint Russian-Israeli programs in the humanitarian, cultural, scientific, technical and educational fields.

We are proud of the huge contribution of the Jews in World War I and the Russian culture, seeking to preserve and enhance it.
In this regard, we welcome the cooperation of creative teams who came from the USSR, the CIS, as well as all the musicians, singers, writers and artists and who started new careers in Israel.

The RCC team is doing its best to present an interesting program in a relaxed athmosphere to our valued visitors.

2 May 2014 - Red Army Forest - near Abu Gosh/Jerusalem Mountains - V Day Celebration
A festive Memorial rally dedicated to the 69th anniversary of the great victory, including a wreathes placing ceremony took place at the Soviet soldiers monument.

Opening the meeting, the Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Mission in Israel, Natalie Yakimchuk congratulated Israel on victory day on behalf of the Federal Agency Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel.

N. Yakimchuk described the history of the forest, which was established and opened in 1950, as a sign of deep gratitude to the soldiers and commanders of the Soviet army, who freed the world from fascism.

The inscription on the memorial stone reads: "this forest was planted by Israeli citizens in honour of the Soviet army".

The memorial ceremony was attended by the counsellor of the Embassy of Russia, Alexander Kryukov, deputy military attache of the Russian Federation Alexander Milovidov, counsellor, of the Embassy of Belarus Aleh Bujkevich, first Secretary of the Embassy of Uzbekistan Timur Jalilov and military attache of Kazakhstan Bolat Duskinov.

The celebration was also attended by representatives of public organizations of citizens, the leaders of the National Union of Russian communities, the President of the Alumni Association of Soviet and Russian higher educational Sameer Khatib, leaders of veterans unions, veterans and invalids of the war, the club of the military-historical reenactment of the RED ARMY and other youth organizations.

The winners and laureates of the Israeli contest of talented children "Kaleidoscope" Timothy and Alika Sannikovy, Ilan Gorlicki, Galya Kishinev also took part in the concert during the ceremony .

The Veterans were warmly greeted by young artists, performing poems and songs about the war.

24 April 2014 - The first stage of the Olympiad on Russian language ended in the RCC in Tel Aviv


The first stage of the Olympiad in Russian language conducted by the Israeli Center of children's creativity and the Representation of Rossotrudnichestvo in Israel, with the support of the "Russkiy Mir (Russian world)" foundation, was completed at the RCC.

The Olympics has aroused great interest among schoolchildren, their teachers and parents, in a conscious effort by compatriots to preserve the Russian language among the younger generation of Russian-speaking Israelis.

The first stage of the Olympiad has already passed in Beer-Sheva, Jerusalem, Herzliya and Nazareth. In the Russian cultural centre entries written by young Israelis from Tel Aviv, Netanya, Bat-Yam and other cities in the center of the country.

Basically, these are students of evening schools and cultural and educational centers, as well as students attending Russian language courses at the RCC.

In General, he first qualifying round was attended by about 300 pupils aged from 8 to 18 years.
The final stage of the Olympiad will be held 14 May 2014 at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv, and the rewarding of winners will take place on 27 May 2014.

Annual international educational campaign on "Total dictation" literacy will be held at the Russian cultural center in Tel Aviv - 12 April, Saturday, 13:00.
Major international event. Organizer- is the Foundation for support of linguistic culture "Total dictation".
No limits and restrictions: any person who owns a Russian language free and voluntarily writes a specially prepared text under the dictation of a professional philologist, and then gets the results, and if you want a full review of mistakes.
Dictation is free and anonymous. . About 360 cities from 35 countries are involved. Outside Russia dictations will be held in New York, Amsterdam, Paris, Sydney, Toronto, Beijing, Kuala Lumpur, Tel Aviv, Haifa and other cities around the world. About 30 thousand Russian-speaking inhabitants will write the same text under dictation, which until now has remained a closely guarded secret.

To become an excellent student or even good marks is not easy. Those who have committed the fewest errors will win prizes, books from the RCC in Tel Aviv.

"Prospects for sustained development of the oil-bearing Far North (Yugra) region"


Students are invited to participate from all countries who study environmental management, geography, cultural studies, sociology, journalism. Enrollment is up to 1 May. The working language is English.
The school program includes lectures, seminars, round tables with representatives of local authorities, the MEDIA, business, cultural and educational institutions. Every day there will be courses of Russian as a foreign language. The social and cultural program will include city tours, visits to the stands, oil fields and so on.

Requirements for participants: -(SV) student Bachelor, master, graduate school;
-age 18 years;
-good knowledge of English;
-interest in the themes of the summer school.

The registration fee is € 950. This includes accommodation, meals, educational courses and excursions. The Yugor State University offers several scholarships in the amount of 50% of the registration fee.
