Welcome to the website of the Russian Cultural Center (RCC).

The RCC opened in Tel Aviv on October 10, 2007 , and is one of 85 foreign representations of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation.

The main tasks of the RCC is to promote Russian culture and the arts, support the study and teaching of the Russian language, to relay prompt and objective information to the Israelis about the most important events of the external and internal policy of Russia, promoting the implementation of the joint Russian-Israeli programs in the humanitarian, cultural, scientific, technical and educational fields.

We are proud of the huge contribution of the Jews in World War I and the Russian culture, seeking to preserve and enhance it.
In this regard, we welcome the cooperation of creative teams who came from the USSR, the CIS, as well as all the musicians, singers, writers and artists and who started new careers in Israel.

The RCC team is doing its best to present an interesting program in a relaxed athmosphere to our valued visitors.

Courses, studios, Circles, Russian language courses - free group for children and students. Computer courses for adults. Studio drawing and painting (for kids and adults). School playing six-string guitar (for children and adults). Theatrical studio "Silhouette" (for adults). Weekly Educational and methodical Russian language courses.

Library: loan, reading room, stand with new additions. Internet.
Opening hours: Monday (11.00-15.30), Wednesday (14.00-18.30), Fri. (10.00-13.30). Opening hours might change, please watch for ments.

RCC Tel Aviv, January 23, 2015 - Veterans Medal awarding ceremony On the eve of the Day of the complete lifting of the siege of Leningrad, the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv awarded commemorative medals "70 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941 - 1945" to the defenders and residents of besieged Leningrad, living in Israel. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Adviser to the Russian Embassy in Israel, Alexander Kryukov, Head of Rossotrudnichestvo in Israel Natalia Yakimchuk, Chairman of the Union of Leningrad blockaders in Israel Sonia Barula. The significant event was highlighted by a historical and documentary exhibition dedicated to the Heroic Defenders of Leningrad, and their unparalleled courage during the Leningrad blockade. In the year of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the awarding ceremony of war veterans will be held throughout Israel.

Tatiana Evseevna Alexina (1932-2014)

The Representation of the Russian Federal Agency "Rossotrudnichestvo" in Israel and the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv sadly inform you that Tatiana Evseevna Alexina, writer and social activist, wife of the famous writer Anatoly G.Alexin, passed away on 24 December 2014.

Tatiana Alexina worked many years as the executive secretary of the Association of literature and art for children and youth of the Union of Soviet Societies for Friendship and then for 17 years was Deputy Chairman of the Council for Children's and Young People's Literature Writers' Union.

TE Alexina received recognition as Honored Worker of Culture of Russia, laureate of the Israel Prize "Compassion" for charitable activities, honorary president of Charity Foundation "Dream" and the community of cancer patients, "Love of Life".

TE Alexina successfully engaged in literary work, published in Russia, America and Israel, and is the author of the book of memoirs, "Is this it? ..".

Tatiana Evseevna was a friend of the Russian Cultural Center, took an active part in organizing and conducting meetings with writer Anatoly Aleksin and numerous cultural and educational projects of the RCC.

The staff of the Russian Cultural Center express their condolences to Anatoly G.Alexin, friends, relatives and friends of Tatiana Evseevna Alexina. The bright memory of her will remain in our hearts.

FREE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE COURSES
for children and youngsters aged 6 to 12 years from Russian-speaking families.

Classes are conducted by highly qualified teachers with many years of experience in teaching the Russian language in Israeli schools.
Groups are formed according to the results of the interview. Frequency of sessions: once a week for 3 lessons (the duration of the lesson: 45 min.) subject to change. Hours: 17:00-19:35 - effective September, 2014.
