We express our deepest condolences for the passing away of the prominent Israeli statesman Shimon Peres. The presentation of the collection was attended by Head of the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv Natalia Yakimchuk, author of poetic translation into Hebrew and compiler of an anthology,the talented translator Alla Court, the originator of the preface and biographical articles in the book, an Israeli scholar, translator, doctor of philological sciences, professor of Hebrew University Jerusalem Zoya Kopelman.
The evening was organized by an authoritative representative of the Israeli school of translation, the author of translations of Russian poetry into Hebrew Aminadav Dickman Director of translation of the Hebrew University program, corresponding member of the Israeli Academy of Language, a member of the Israel National Commission for translation of world classics.
Participants in the discussion - Israeli linguists, university professors, specialists in Russian philology, teachers, translators, writers and lovers of Russian literature - who praised the new edition.

An award ceremony followed, awarding diplomas and prizes contributed by the Russian Cultural Center for Russian language teachers, who were the winners of IV contest for the best-Israeli methodical development of the Russian language lessons.

In a joint project of the Institute of Translation, LFL them. MI Rudomino and Israeli publishers, with the support of the RCC, collections of works of Tolstoy, Leskov, Chekhov and other Russian writers and poets translated into Hebrew have been published.

The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Union of Russian writers Yuri Israel-Moore Muradov, Executive Secretary of the Union, writer, literary critic Leonid Finkel, chairman of the Commission for awarding prizes, satirist Alexander Kanevsky -. The winners of literary prizes, the steel poets Boris Kamyanov Peter Mezhuritsky and Leonid Kolganov, Samoilova were awarded the David Prize, writer Leah Gorchakov,was awarded the prize named after Yuri Nagibina, writer Lubov Hazan, received the award named after Viktor Nekrasov. - Diplomas were awarded by SRPI chairmen of the Russian-speaking literary associations from different cities in Israel. - The winners of the art song festival, poets, bards Alexander Dov Daniel Miroshenskywere also at the event. - The Israeli Creative Union of Writers is the largest annually award event for over 15 years in various categories - in the genre of military literature, in prose and poetry. The winners of the previous years were Dina Rubina, Gregory Kanovitch Ion Degen and other well-known Israeli and Russian writers and poets.

17.9.Russian-language broadcast at Israeli Radio REKA devoted to the 80th anniversary of the Russian poet Alexander Kushner
On 17th Sep In a joint project of radio "Voice of Israel" (REKA) and the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv the Russian language, broadcast was devoted to the work of the master of Russian poetry - St. Petersburg poet Alexander Kushner, who celebrated 80-year anniversary on September 14 th. - The program included songs on poems of the poet.

Journalist, writer Lior Gan and RCC senior employee, scholar, specialist in Russian philology, linguistics Dr.Tatiana Yatsyuk led the program. The program also discussed topical issues of speech culture and preservation of the Russian language in all its richness and purity. - This monthly Russian language broadcast format was first aired in November 2015, and since then enjoys an increasing audience of Russian-speaking Israelis from different generations, seeking to maintain spiritual ties with the Russian culture.
16.9.The exhibition of illustrations of AP Chekhov's stories,opened at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv As part of Israel's week of illustrations organized by the municipality of Tel Aviv, the opening of the art exhibition "The samovar: illustrations for short stories, AP Chekhov " took place on September 16 at the Russian Cultural Center. - The exhibition presents original works by young Israeli illustrators Marina Grechanik, Jana Bukler, Gila Noam, Rachel Stalero Haim, Ksenia Topaz, Lior Shnurmeher.the exhibition of illustrations shows selected favorite stories AP Chekhov.- Feedback from visitors, talented artist managed to convey in their work atmosphere and flavor of Chekhov's works. On the opening day also an exposition of eleven drawings by Sonya Popova were on display. 9.9.A meeting held in the city of Nazareth with students who obtained the right to study in Russian universities and other higher educational institutions. The meeting was attended by the Consul General of the Russian Federation Alexei Sentebov in Haifa, Advisor to the Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Sergei Anokhin, Head of Rossotrudnichestvo in Israel, Natalia Yakimchuk, Honorary Consul General of Russia in the southern district of Israel Safia Amin, Head of the Association of graduates of Soviet and Russian universities Samir Khatib. - In their speeches they bade farewell and expressed good wishes to the students who received free tuition quota in Russian universities in different specialties. - At the end of the meeting the students and their parents received answers to their questions related to further their studies in Russia.- Rossotrudnichestvo and the Ministry of Education were given about 50 scholarships for young people from Israel for higher education in Russian universities and other higher educational institutions.- Detailed information about studying in Russia of foreign citizens is available on the website of the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv: http://isr.rs.gov.ru/ru/ucheba-v-rossii    read more >>>
8.9.Memorial meeting - 75th anniversary of the beginning of the siege of Leningrad by German fascist invaders On the day of the 75th anniversary of the beginning of the siege of Leningrad a memorial meeting was held in the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv. - The meeting was organized by the Union of Leningrad blockaders in Israel. The memorial event was attended by Advisor to the Embassy of Russia in Israel, Alexander Kryukov, Chairman of the Coordination Council of public organizations of compatriots in Israel Leonid Litinetsky, chairman of the Leningrad blockaders in Israel Sonia Barula, chairman of Union Veterans of the Second World War - the fighters against Nazism Abram Grinzaid and Leningrad blockaders, who came from different cities of the country.- This meeting is a tribute to our memory the feat of Leningrad, - stressed in their speeches, participants of the meeting - we are deeply grateful to the defenders during the Leningrad blockade and for the courage and perseverance in the most difficult days of the Nazi siege.- At the meeting, a ceremony of candle lighting and a minute's silence in memory of the victims of the siege of Leningrad. The Leningrad blockaders, many of whom were children then, shared their memories.- Speakers talked about the fate of the dead and the dead during the war and the blockade of the relatives of the solidarity of people of different nationalities living in the besieged city, their solidarity in the struggle against Nazism and overall contribution to the victory.
7.9. Gala evening in honor of Moscow Day took place in Tel Aviv
On 7 September 7 a gala evening was held In honor of Moscow Day in Tel Aviv,which took place in the "Asia" concert hall Museum of Fine Arts, organized by the Association of Compatriots "Moscow" (Israel), the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv, with the support of the Moscow Government (Department for External Economic and international relations) and the municipality of Tel Aviv.-. This year's celebration of Moscow Day in Tel Aviv is dedicated to two significant historical dates: the 25th anniversary of the restoration of diplomatic relations between Israel and Russia, and the 75th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi troops near Moscow. - At the opening ceremony of the evening the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Israel, Alexander Shein, Mayor of Tel Aviv Ron Huldai, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Skvortsov, Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova Gabriel Moraru, the guest of honor of Russia - Deputy of the State Duma, the famous athlete and public figure Nikolai Valuev, former Israeli Ambassador to Russia Dorit Golender and Zvi Magen, Knesset members, veterans of the Great Patriotic war, the leaders of Russian public organizations and associations of immigrants from the Soviet Union and the CIS countries, representatives of the Israeli media. -

Today on Radio REKA, Victoria Dolinskaya's joint program with the Russian Cultural Center "The child," a monthly Russian language broadcast "Once - in a word, twice in a word" visited the magical world of theater and learned how the make-up artists and costume designers like to make a scene and what happens behind the scenes. The program was attended by well-known studio musicians for Young Theatre Spectators under the direction of director Shaul Tiktiner and director-producer of the theater Arkady Tiktiner ,Spectators of the Studio, "Tyuziki", as they call themselves, Galya and Andrew Chisinau, who talked about their roles in the performances and how training in children's drama school helped them to keep the Russian language and to develop speech.
