The PMOH Liaison offices provide voluntary assistance to Russian Institutions and Organizations.
The liaison team in Israel is part of the PMOH-JHLC - Jerusalem Holy Land Center which maintains its laision office in Tel Aviv, and works closely with all Russian Institutions in the Holy Land, including the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv since its opening in Oct 2007.

We provide voluntary assistance to the Media, Academia and any interested party including Writers, Artists and Veterans connected with the RCC by promoting their art or publications in English,Russian and Hebrew via the internet through our various web-sites.

PMOH-Obshestvo IRAS in Israel & IRAP - The Israeli-Russian Art Promotions web-sites cover the exhibitions and other art activities,announcements,invitations,press-releases,statements you may wish to inform the media and the art community about.

SUHIS - CCCP - Soviet Union Historical Society - Israel Branch assists with internet publications of the various war veterans activities
in Israel in close coordination with the Representation of the Russian Federal Agency Rossotrudnichestvo in Israel.

PRESIDENT OF RUSSIA VLADIMIR PUTIN:

Mr President, I am very pleased to see you in Moscow. Thank you for agreeing to make this visit.
Just recently, the two of us attended in Israel the unveiling of a monument to the Red Army, which made enormous sacrifices for our shared victory over Nazism.

Today you are taking part in the opening of the Russian Jewish Museum of Tolerance and memorial centre. This is our shared contribution to the fight against xenophobia and nationalism. I am confident that this centre will be visited not only by the Russian Jews, but also by representatives of all faiths and ethnic groups in Russia.

The Soviet Union and Russia suffered huge casualties during World War II, more than any other nation. We will never forget the sacrifices of the Jewish people in the fight against Nazism and we will never forget the Holocaust.
Mr President, I am very pleased that the relations between our countries are growing stronger and more positive. There are a number of very promising areas in our cooperation: energy, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and space exploration (we have already launched seven Israeli satellites).

I remember our detailed conversation on international issues during my visit to Israel. I am very happy to meet with you again and discuss all these matters.

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill’s visit to the Patriarchate of Jerusalem on 9-14 November 2012

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia will visit the Patriarchate of Jerusalem on November 9-14, 2012, at the invitation of His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem and the Holy Synod of the Orthodox Church of Jerusalem.

The focal point of the visit will be pilgrimage to the greatest holy sites of the Christian world. Patriarch Kirill is expected to concelebrate with Patriarch Theophilos III at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and walk along the Via Dolorosa.  read more >>>

New Council to promote Russian culture abroad

A new national promotion has been launched by the Russian Federation's Council of Culture abroad. The Council is headed by the Head of the FA Rossotrudnichestvo, Konstantin Kosachev.

"The Mission adopted for the Council abroad is an objective presentation of modern Russia. It should ensure and improve access to the traditions of the multinational Russian culture and its achievements, promote a positive image of Russia in the global community through a system of cultural values and benchmarks, said K. Kosachev.
The Head of Rossotrudnichestvo noted that the new body has been set up to ensure effective interaction with interested government bodies, creative associations, cultural institutions in planning, organizing and conducting cultural activities abroad.

K. Kosachev stressed that the objectives of the new organisation are a unique infrastructure of Russian Centers of Science and Culture, currently in 74 countries around the world, and by 2020, the centers will function in 100 countries.
