War veterans from Kiriat Chaim visited the RCC in Tel Aviv




On February 23, " Defender of the Fatherland " Day, at the invitation of the Russian Federal Agency Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel, supported by the Russian Embassy and the Russian Consulate General in Haifa,a joint delegation of the Veterans Union of disabled soldiers and partisans from the war against the Nazis from Kiryat Chaim (Haifa District) visited the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv.

Songs of the Great Patriotic War created a special holiday atmosphere in the courtyard of the RCC,and in the hall which was decorated with the state flags of the Soviet Union, Russia and Israel, a copy of the Victory Banner, and the display of a historical and artistic exhibition, "To the glory of the soldiers of Russia", devoted to " Defender of the Fatherland " Day added to the festive atmosphere.

Opening the meeting, Chief Representative Alexander Kryukov welcomed the honored guests who visited the Russian Cultural Center for the first time, and congratulated the veterans on the celebration of this respected Soviet and modern Russian holiday of military glory, noting their invaluable contribution to the victory over the Nazi invaders.

Kryukov also spoke about the diverse work of the RCC in Tel Aviv, including the fruitful friendly cooperation with veterans' organizations in Israel.

The head of the military attaches at the Embassy of Russia, Colonel Pavel Subbotin, congratulated the veterans on the occasion, on behalf of the Minister of Defense of Russia ,stressing the importance of such meetings for the citizens of Israel and Russia.

The Chairman of the veteran association of Kiryat Haim Yuri Volnik thanked the Representative for the invitation and warm reception and expressed hope for further cooperation.

Kryukov presented a gift, a set of video CDs with the multi-historical-documentary "The Unknown War."
The Director of the RCC spoke to the guests from the north of Israel about the various activities of the Center, after which they were shown a video about the Russian Cultural Center's four years work, which was met with great interest by the audience.

At the end of the meeting, a concert was given with the participation of the Russian-Israeli musicologist, pianist, war veteran Emil Siegel (Rehovot), musician and singer Emile Arbitman (Rehovot) and winner of several competitions of creative singer Natalia Serebryakova (Gedera), who performed a memorable wartime song with genuine support from the hall.

The veterans were offered a festive banquet, organized by the head of the World Cultural Center of the Jews from Central Asia, the famous restaurateur Dr. Mordechai Kimyagarovym (Tel Aviv).

The meeting was also attended by the head of Israel's foundation for economic, scientific-technical and cultural support of Russian compatriots, Yuri Voldman and chairman of the Association of former law enforcement officers of the USSR / CIS "Shield and Sword" George Berenzon.

Ветераны войны из Кирьят-Хаима посетили РКЦ в Тель-Авиве

 

23 февраля, в День защитника Отечества, по приглашению Представительства Россотрудничества в Израиле, поддержке Посольства России и генконсульства в Хайфе представительная объединённая делегация членов Союза воинов и партизан и Союза инвалидов войны с нацистами из Кирьят-Хаима (Хайфский округ) посетила Российский культурный центр в Тель-Авиве. 

Особую атмосферу праздника создавали звучавшие во дворе РКЦ песни времён Великой Отечественной войны, выставленные в зале государственные флаги Советского Союза, России и Израиля, копия Знамени Победы, а также историко-художественная выставка «Во славу воинов России», посвящённая Дню защитника Отечества.

Открывая встречу, руководитель Представительства Александр Крюков приветствовал впервые посетивших РКЦ дорогих гостей и поздравил уважаемых ветеранов с памятным советским и современным российским праздником воинской славы, отметив их неоценимый вклад в Победу над немецко-фашистскими захватчиками. А. Крюков также рассказал о разноплановой работе  РКЦ в Тель-Авиве, в том числе, о плодотворном товарищеском сотрудничестве с ветеранскими организациями Израиля.

Руководитель военного атташата при Посольстве России полковник Павел Субботин от имени Министра обороны России поздравил ветеранов с праздником, подчеркнув важность подобных встреч для граждан Израиля и России. 

Председатель ветеранского объединения Кирьят-Хаима Юрий Вольник поблагодарил Представительство за приглашение и тёплую встречу и выразил надежду на дальнейшее сотрудничество. А. Крюков преподнёс в дар объединению комплект видео-дисков с многосерийным историко-документальным фильмом «Неизвестная война». 

Директор РКЦ рассказал гостям с севера Израиля о разнообразной деятельности Центра, а затем им был показан видеофильм о четырёхлетней работе РКЦ, с большим интересом встреченный аудиторией.

В завершение встречи состоялся концерт с участием российско-израильского музыковеда, пианиста, ветерана войны Эмиля Зигеля (Реховот), музыканта и певца Эмиля Арбитмана (Реховот) и лауреата ряда творческих конкурсов певицы Наталии Серебряковой (Гедера), которые исполнили памятные песни фронтовых лет при искренней поддержке зала.

Ветеранам был предложен праздничный фуршет, организованный руководителем Всемирного культурного центра евреев – выходцев из Центральной Азии, известным ресторатором д-ром Мордехаем Кимягаровым (Тель-Авив).

Во встрече также приняли участие руководитель Израильского фонда экономической, научно-технической и культурной поддержки российских соотечественников Юрий Вольдман и председатель Объединения
бывших сотрудников правоохранительных органов СССР/СНГ «Щит и меч» Георгий Берензон.
