Welcome to the website of the Russian Cultural Center (RCC).
The RCC, opened in Tel Aviv, October 10, 2007, and is one of 73 foreign missions of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation.
The main tasks of the RCC is to promote Russian culture and art, and support learning and teaching of the Russian language, providing prompt and objective information to the Israeli Public about the major events,the foreign policy of Russia as well as the promotion of joint Russian-Israeli programs in the humanitarian, cultural, scientific, technological and educational fields .
We are proud of the huge contribution of the Jews in the world to Russian culture, seeking to preserve and augment it. In this regard, we invite you to co-operate with the creative teams in Israel who came from the Soviet Union and the CIS, together with all the musicians, artists, writers and artists.
The RCC team is doing everything possible so that our valued visitors, the Israelis can feel comfortable and enjoy the programs. We welcome your suggestions.

"The Seagull" in space" - Photo-Exhibition - 6 July - 6 September 2013 IGRB - Jerusalem
As part of its cultural and information activities the FA Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel launched a unique photo-exhibition devoted to the 50th anniversary of the space flight of the first woman cosmonaut, Valentina Tereshkova, on 6 July in the city of Jerusalem at the Russian library (IGRB) "The Seagull "in space" from the public and private archives of one of the most famous women of the XX century.
The exhibition includes rare photographs that reflect the main stages of the glorious way of life of the first woman of the Earth, who won the cosmos - from her teenage years to present day.
Opening the exhibition, the Head of FA Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel, Alexander Kryukov briefly spoke about Valentina Tereshkova, and the success of the photo exhibition, first exhibited at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv.
Kryukov also donated a collection of the best Soviet and Russian children's movies and new books from Russia to the IGRB .
The library director, Knight of the Pushkin Medal, Clara Elbert thanked the Rossotrudnichestvo Representation for providing the photo exhibition and appreciated the fruitful partnership with the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv.
She also delivered a welcome message from Michael Eisenberg, who lives now in Israel, and who was the former head of the search and rescue team, who was one of the first in the world who met Valentina Tereshkova after the landing.
The event was attended by representatives of the Russian-speaking scientific and creative intelligentsia of Jerusalem.
The exhibition will be open until September 6.

July 18 Haifa - Military-historical conference devoted to 70-th anniversary of the battle of Kursk, which fractured during the decisive World War II and the beginning of the liberation of Soviet territory from German fascist invaders.
The Conference was jointly prepared and conducted by the Second world war Union of Veterans and the Union of disabled soldiers and partisans with the support of the city of Haifa. Conference participants included former front-line soldiers who fought at Kursk and who were welcomed by the Russian Consul General in Haifa, Igor Popov, Ukrainian Consul in Haifa, Ludmila Irodovskaya and Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Representative office in Israel, Alexander Kryukov, who also donated new Russian museums publications on the history of the great patriotic war to the veterans | .
