Welcome to the website of the Russian Cultural Center (RCC).

The RCC opened in Tel Aviv on October 10, 2007 , and is one of 85 foreign representations of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation.

The main tasks of the RCC is to promote Russian culture and the arts, support the study and teaching of the Russian language, to relay prompt and objective information to the Israelis about the most important events of the external and internal policy of Russia, promoting the implementation of the joint Russian-Israeli programs in the humanitarian, cultural, scientific, technical and educational fields.

We are proud of the huge contribution of the Jews in World War I and the Russian culture, seeking to preserve and enhance it.
In this regard, we welcome the cooperation of creative teams who came from the USSR, the CIS, as well as all the musicians, singers, writers and artists and who started new careers in Israel.

The RCC team is doing its best to present an interesting program in a relaxed athmosphere to our valued visitors.

National competition of educational and methodical "Olympic lesson"
24.09.2013 - The Rossotrudnichestvo Representation in Israel and the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv invites Russian teachers to take part in all the "Olympic lesson" for the best academic development units of the Russian language dedicated to the Olympic Games ,and to the Olympic Games-2014 in Sochi.

The competition is to promote and support the creative potential of Israeli experts, enhance the interest of students to study the Russian language and Russian history, addressing educational tasks based on the spiritual values of the Olympic movement and healthy living, as well as to foster the RCC 's methodological developments in assisting its teachers of Russian as a foreign language.

Theme of the contest:
  • ancient and modern history of the Olympic Games;
  • The Olympic movement in Russia: history, champions;
  • Sochi-2014 Winter Olympics capital;
  • Paralympic Games: spiritual values and achievements.

    The submission deadline is January 10, 2014

    Awards: January 20, 2014 - additional ceremonial details will be announced in due course

    		World Internet contest "Chaika" (Seagull)

     09.09.2013 The Russian Federal Agency Rossotrudnichestvo together with the development of social initiatives "new perspectives" invite fellow countrymen living abroad and foreign citizens studying the Russian language, to participate in the worldwide Internet competition "the Seagull", devoted to the 50 anniversary of the flight of Valentina Tereshkova into space.

    Age of participants: from 6 to 15 years old, from 16 to 22 years from 23 years of age and older.

    Organization and conducting of the Internet contest takes place at the site "Virtual Museum of space exploration. V. v. Tereshkova "at: www.cosmos-museum.com

    Theme of the contest:
  • History of Soviet and Russian space exploration
  • The first human space flight
  • The first female cosmonaut
  • Soviet and Russian cosmonauts, scientists and engineers;

    "My golden Moscow "-
    an exhibition of works by winners of 5th National All-Israeli children's drawing competition
    In the lobby of Matnas Mazkeret Batya the grand opening of the exhibition for the winners and participants of the 5h National competition for young artists " My golden Moscow",took place, the theme was dedicated to the Day of the Russian capital,organized by the FA Rossotrudnichestvo in Israel in cooperation with the Israel Children's Art Support Center (Head - Elion Vilenchik, Art Director - Irene Deutsch ) , the " Moscow" Association (Chair -  Olga Gelfand ) and the Association of professional Artists of Israel (Chair - Anna Zarnitskaya ) with the participation of radio REKA ( presenter of " The children broadcast" - Viktoria Dolinskaya ) .

    Opening the ceremony , the head of the local council , Meir Dagan welcomed the guests and organizers. In response, the head of the FA Rossotrudnichestvo in Israel, Natalia Yakimchuk thanked Mr. M. Dagan for the support of Mazkeret Batya's Russian community and noted the importance of such contests for the artistic development of children and enriching their knowledge of Russian .
    The opening ceremony was attended by the first assistant to the head of the local council Alex Fialko, and members of the public and residents of Mazkeret Batya .
    The evening concluded with a performance of the young artists and vocal ensemble hostel Mazkeret Batya , who performed popular songs in Russian , Hebrew and Yiddish .

    		As part of the development of a " Russian language abroad " training course, the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv is solding seminars for the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Bethlehem ,on conceptual foundations and current problems of teaching Russian as a foreign language abroad.

    The workshop involves a series of inter-related activities : workshops, trainings, consultations and roundtables .
    The objectives of the workshop - to acquaint Russian teachers with the modern concept and methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language and to equip them with innovative educational technologies using multimedia.

    The seminar on 11 October 11 2013 at the RCC profit Rusists of the RCSC in Bethlehem : Ph.D. Larissa Shapovalov , Marguerite Hasayen and Anna Zinchenko, which included master classes at the Russian language courses for children compatriots.

    Experienced teachers Tatiana Semenova and Dr. Tatiana Yatsyuk shared with their colleagues from Bethlehem the experience of differentiated and individual approaches to teaching the Russian language to children with different levels of training.

    FREE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE COURSES
    for children and youngsters aged 7 to 14 years
    from Russian-speaking families.

    Classes are conducted by highly qualified teachers with many years of experience
    in teaching the Russian language in Israeli schools.
    Groups are formed according to the results of the interview.
    Frequency of sessions: once a week for 3 lessons
    (the duration of the lesson: 45 min.) subject to change. Hours: 17:00-19:35 - effective September, 2013.
