On March 28-29,2016, the 1st International Vocal Competition named after Mikhail Alexandrovich in Israel took place at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv .
The competition was held under the auspices of the Coordination Council of Compatriots public organizations in Israel, with the support of the Russian Cultural Center, the Association of Russian-speaking journalists in Israel, the Union of Russian Writers in Israel and other organizations.
One of the main goals of this project is to support young talents. During the two days of competition jury listened to 59 Israeli singers, the youngest of whom is 5 years old, and the oldest - 32 years. March 29 the award ceremony for the winners of the contest was held.
The ceremony was attended by the Director of the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv, Natalia Yakimchuk, chairman of the Coordination Council of VORZ,
Leonid Litinetsky, Head of the Association of immigrants from the Republic of Tatarstan in Israel, Max Pearlstein, chairman of the "Moscow" Association in Israel Olga Gelfand, teachers, heads of children and youth vocal groups, representatives of the media and Internet publications.
More than 30 laureates of the contest in the 4 age groups - soloists and vocal ensembles - were awarded diplomas in various categories. The young Israeli singers Shani Safari, and Yevgeniy Avital Lichtman Averkov were awarded diplomas by the Russian Cultural Center in the nomination "For the best performance in Russian" and certificates for participation in the International festival-contest of children's creativity "Kaleidoscope", which will take place in April.
