Awarding the winners of the III Russian language Olympics at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv
The Awarding of the winners of the III Russian language Olympics among students, organized by the Israel Children's Creativity Support Center and the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv, with the support of the Russkiy Mir Fund - "Russian World", was held on April 6 at the RCC.
The Olympics was attended by over 800 pupils aged 7 to 18 who are studying the Russian language in public schools, the Russian-speaking cultural and educational centers and night schools in different cities of the country, as well as in Russian language courses at the RCC.
The coordinator of the Russian programs of the Fund "Russian World" Svetlana Shcherbakova (Moscow) attended the award ceremony, the Director of the Russian Cultural Center, Natalia Yakymchuk, CEO of the Israeli Children's Art Support Center Elion Vilenchik and Art Director Irina Deitch, the Olympics finalists, their parents and teachers.
The Russian Teachers at Israeli schools unanimously say that the Olympics will promote the popularization of the Russian language and increase motivation to study it in the younger generation environment.
53 Olympics laureate in four age groups were awarded with medals, diplomas and prizes. Shelley Mogilev (14 years) received the Grand Prix of the Olympics - a ticket to the international camp seminar to study the Russian language, history and culture of Russia .
Four owners of prizes from different cities of the country - Natalia Shpolyanskaya (17 years), Michal Rabinowitz (15 years), Sonia Purinson (15 years), Liel Wolff (14 years) - were rewarded with a trip to Russia in August 2016 in the framework of Rossotrudnichestvo " Hello, Russia! ".
50 teachers-specialists in Russian philology who prepared their students for the Olympics were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.
The children's ensemble of soloists "Ashdod Flowers" provided entertainement during the celebration .
