Israeli Radio REKA broadcast
dedicated to the anniversary of Mikhail Bulgakov
On May 21, Israeli public Radio "Voice of Israel" (Radio REKA) dedicated its popular Russian language broadcast ,moderated by journalist, radio presenter Lior Gan and senior staff member of the Russian Cultural Center, philologist, specialist in Russian philology, linguistics Dr. Tatiana Yatsyuk., to the 125th anniversary
of the world-famous Russian writer and playwright Mikhail Bulgakov.
During the program, which received positive feedback from its listeners, excerpts from his religious works - the novel "The Master and Margarita",the novel "Heart of a Dog" and the play "Ivan Vasilievich", musical illustrations of favorite Soviet and Russian film-adaptations were presented.
For example, the language used by the Bulgakov characters were considered changes in the Russian language in the era of the revolution, the Civil War and the NEP, as well as topical issues of speech culture.
Since the existence of the broadcast, in November 2015, the audience of its regular listeners consists of Israelis from older and younger generations, speaking in Russian and preserving spiritual ties with the Russian culture.
