Day of Slavic Literature and Culture noted during Russian language courses at the RCC in Tel Aviv
On the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture, May 24,a thematic lesson "That the ABC is the beginning of all beginnings" was given during the Russian language courses for children of compatriots at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv.
The students spoke of the creators of the Slavic alphabet - educators Cyril and Methodius, the history of the Russian alphabet, the role of writing in the history and culture of Russia. During the lesson a video, created for the opening of the Olympic Games in Sochi, was shown about the Russian alphabet.
Thematic lessons on Russian language courses for children of compatriots, devoted to significant dates in Russian history and culture, are one of the components of the educational project "Preserve the Russian language in the family",a project for children and parents, which has been successfully implemented in the Russian Cultural Center for several years.
