The Israeli team was successful at the second World Games of young compatriots in Sochi
the second World Games of young compatriots in Sochi, held under the patronage of Rossotrudnichestvo, ended April 29.
The competition was attended by 600 athletes from 46 countries in Europe, Asia and America.
An extensive entertainment program, which included informal dialogue in Russian with their peers from different countries had been prepared for the participants of the World Games.
At competitions young Israeli athletes, who arrived in Sochi with the support of the Coordinating Council of Compatriots in Israel were successful . The chess team of Sean Levitan, Tal Zussman, Patrick Senderskiy and Gabriel Buchmann took second place, losing to the team of Greece.
Tennis Banuel Dubinsky, Maxim Sorenko Nicole Ivanov and Revital Frankel took fourth place after the teams from Germany, Moldova and Russia.
The swimmers Roi Kroll and Lior Lviv performed successfully. Mixed teams of Israel and Latvia swimmers in the relay 4x100m freestyle won first place.
Congratulations to the team of young Israeli nationals and their coaches with success and we wish new achievements in sports!
