 | Many celebrations in honor of Victory Day were held in Israel

Celebrations in honor of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War and the Second World War, the festival that has gained official status in Israel, was held this year in thirty-nine cities.
On the eve of Victory Day, May 6, an impressive march and rally was held in Haifa "Immortal regiment."
An endless stream of marchers in the central streets of the city, comprised of theLeningrad blockade veterans and the descendants of those who heroically fought in the Great Patriotic War.
An already traditional Victory Parade and rally "Immortal regiment" took place on May 8 in Jerusalem. As the parade passed, numerous representatives of the government and the city administration, the Knesset, representatives of veterans associations, public organizations, war veterans and their families witnessed this impressive parade.
Within the framework of celebrations organized by the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv in honor of Victory Day, on May 7, a memorial ceremony of wreaths laying at the monument to Soviet soldiers was held in the Red Army Forest, near Jerusalem,with the participation of Russia and Belarus embassies, veterans' associations and public organizations of compatriots , after which the Russian Cultural Center hosted a concert of children's creative collectives.
The Victory Day movie marathon dedicated to the best Soviet and Russian films about the Great Patriotic War with subtitles in Hebrew, was held on May 6 in the RCC cinema.
The exhibition "Faces of Victory", the exhibition "The Mountain Jews in World War II", a meeting with war veterans, military field post, the field soldier's kitchen: interactive public events were organized on May 9 at the Russian Cultural Center.
At the end of the event the soloists of the international project of the St. Petersburg House of Music "Embassy of Excellence" - winners of international competitions Dmitry Smirnov (violin) and Andrew Telkova (piano) gave a concert at the RCC. .
