In Tel Aviv, the VIII International competition of children's drawings "Let 's take hands, friends!" was summed up.
The Awarding ceremony of the winners and nominees of the special prizes of the VIII International competition of children's drawings "Let 's take hands, friends!", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the restoration of diplomatic relations between Russia and Israel, and the 25th anniversary of the formation of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), was held at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv.
The annual competition of children's art, dedicated to significant dates in Russian history and culture, is a project of the Russian Cultural Center and carried out with the participation of the Association of Professional Artists of Israel, the Israeli children's art support center, combining the supportive efforts of the association "Moscow" (Israel)and Radio "Voice of Israel" ( Kol Israel - Radio REKA).
This year the jury was presented with about 300 works of young artists between the ages of 4 to 17 years old from Israel, Russia and Belarus. The competition was attended by 120 residents - pupils of children's art studios in different cities of the country.
The winners in 4 age categories were awarded with diplomas, medals and children's books in Russian. All participants of the contest received prizes. For the preparation of children for the competition the teachers of art studios and leaders of public organizations were awarded thanked for their great efforts.
The exhibition, launched in the halls of the Russian Cultural Center, presents the work of all participants. The exhibition will run until 30 June.
