Russian Culture was presented at the Tel Aviv Festival "White Night"
June 30- The Russian Cultural Center took part in the annual Tel Aviv festival "Laila Lavan" ( "White Night"), under which the city in "non-stop" mode, held concerts, exhibitions, street carnivals and festivals, fairs and performances.
One of the official venues of the festival, which is so popular among Israelis, included this year for the first time the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv, in whose premises the interactive creative platform that introduce Israelis to Russian culture was organized.
Numerous guests of the RCC had the opportunity to paint their own hands doll, try on Russian national costumes and take pictures, get acquainted with the basics of the Russian language, test ones knowledge in the "Academy of Intelligence", singing Russian songs in karaoke, taking part in a chess tournament, a traditional Russian tea party and many other interesting projects.
The festival in the Russian Cultural Center was an exhibition and sale of books published by "Carmel Israel" (Jerusalem), which presented translations into Hebrew of the classics of Russian literature LN Tolstoy, NS Leskov, FM Dostoevsky, AP Chekhov and other writers.
