Children's and youth camp "Open Russia together" for Russian compatriots living abroad, will be held from 4 to 17 July 2016 in the "ETNOMIR" Cultural and Educational Centre.

The Israelis described the architectural parallels in the history of Moscow and Tel Aviv

On the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture, May 24,a thematic lesson "that the ABC is the beginning of all beginnings" was given during the Russian language courses for children of compatriots at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv.

More than a hundred musicians of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic , conductor Alexander Dmitriev, come to Israel for the first time. The artistic director is Yuri Temirkanov

The exhibition represents the "Crystal Apple" working art studio,with students from the city of Kfar Saba. The exposition of children's drawings is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the studio.

At 19:00 on May 21 , Moscow time, compatriots from 80 countries, including Israel, may watch on-line from Vakhtangov Theater, in on-line performance mode, the play "Dedication to Eve."
The upcoming monthly free show in foreign countries, the performance of a Moscow theater is held within a joint project of Rossotrudnichestvo and "OnLineTeatr Portal".
A link to the on-line broadcast will be published on the eve of the event.
The
broadcast performances are dedicated to the "World Day for Cultural Diversity, for Dialogue and Development", which is celebrated on the same day.
According to Lyubov Glebova, Rossotrudnichestvo abroad is getting more positive reviews each time against this project. "We are working hard to make this project evolve, and our compatriots all over the world, and all those who are interested in Russian dramatic art, were able to see our theater work", - said the head of department.

71st anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War celebrated in Nazareth
In honor of the 71-year anniversary of victory in the great patriotic war a gala evening was held on May 13 in the city of Nazareth ,organized by the Association of graduates of Soviet and Russian universities.
Association members are scientists and prominent public figures, held and respected professionals:doctors, lawyers, engineers, journalists, educators, a successful life journey which started with higher education in the USSR and Russia. Graduates of Soviet and Russian universities retain allegiance to the spiritual values of Russian history and culture, and the great victory day celebration has become a tradition for them.

11 May 2016 - International and national Youth Forums - Russia 2016
The Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of the Russian Federation cordially invites students and young professionals from around the world to take part in high-level multi-themed youth forums, being organized in Russia throughout the months of July and August in the summer of 2016.
Each forum is divided into multiple week-long sessions, focusing on different subject areas. Throughout the week, participants are engaged in thoughtprovoking lectures, panel discussions, debates and case studies – all involving Russia’s most prominent names in academia, politics, business, IT, science, civil society, arts and culture.
The forums encourage and empower participants to push forward new ideas and find solutions to unresolved domestic and international problems, while forming social networks and developing professional communities. The application process to all forums is identical - those interested must register in the automated information system (AIS) “Youth of Russia”, operated by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs. Once registered, an applicant will be able to select the desired forum and session from a list of available events in his or her profile, and complete an electronic application form.

Many celebrations in honor of Victory Day were held in Israel
Celebrations in honor of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War and the Second World War, the festival that has gained official status in Israel, was held this year in thirty-nine cities.
On the eve of Victory Day, May 6, an impressive march and rally was held in Haifa "Immortal regiment."
An endless stream of marchers in the central streets of the city, comprised of theLeningrad blockade veterans and the descendants of those who heroically fought in the Great Patriotic War.
An already traditional Victory Parade and rally "Immortal regiment" took place on May 8 in Jerusalem. As the parade passed, numerous representatives of the government and the city administration, the Knesset, representatives of veterans associations, public organizations, war veterans and their families witnessed this impressive parade.

Victory Day celebrations at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv
Within the framework of events dedicated to the 71st anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, May 9, the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv, held a gala evening with interactive historical and cultural installations and exhibitions.
The center exposition of war rarities was launched, prepared by the Israeli club of military-historical reconstruction of the Red Army (Ashdod).

Ceremony in honor of the 71st anniversary of the Great Victory in the Red Army Forest near Jerusalem
The ceremony dedicated to the 71st anniversary of the Great Victory, was held in the Red Army Forest near Jerusalem.
The
Memorial Forest of the Red Army, located in the mountains near Jerusalem close to the village of Abu Ghosh, was planted in 1950 in gratitude by the Israelis towards the Soviet Army, who saved the world from Nazism.
At the same time there was a stele with an inscription "This forest is planted by Israeli citizens for the Soviet Army." For many years the Russian Cultural Center have been holding their traditional memorial ceremony in the Forest of the Red Army in honor of Victory Day.

A Marshakovskie reading took place in Jerusalem for the first time
Readings dedicated to the work of the remarkable Soviet poet and translator Samuel Marshak, took place on May 3, at the Jerusalem Center for Fine Arts, located in the ancient walls of the Old City.
The idea of Marshakovskie readings and highlighting the biography of the poet in major cities, came from the Voronezh Regional Governor Alexei Gordeyev. As it is known, in Voronezh, where Marshak spent his childhood, a monument was set in his honor.
The first Marshakovskie reading took place in 2015 in Moscow. The Russian Jewish Congress (RJC) is the organizer of the readings in Jerusalem, where Samuel Marshak stayed in the early 20th century.

The Israeli team was successful at the second World Games of young compatriots in Sochi
The second World Games of young compatriots in Sochi, held under the patronage of Rossotrudnichestvo, ended April 29.
The competition was attended by 600 athletes from 46 countries in Europe, Asia and America.
An extensive entertainment program, which included informal dialogue in Russian with their peers from different countries had been prepared for the participants of the World Games.
At competitions young Israeli athletes, who arrived in Sochi with the support of the Coordinating Council of Compatriots in Israel were successful . The chess team of Sean Levitan, Tal Zussman, Patrick Senderskiy and Gabriel Buchmann took second place, losing to the team of Greece.

The opening of the First International Festival of Russian-speaking theaters "Russian Curtain" was held on May 1 in Israel in Petah Tikva. Awarding the winners of the III Russian language Olympics at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv
The Awarding of the winners of the III Russian language Olympics among students, organized by the Israel Children's Creativity Support Center and the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv, with the support of the Russkiy Mir Fund - "Russian World", was held on April 6 at the RCC.
The Olympics was attended by over 800 pupils aged 7 to 18 who are studying the Russian language in public schools, the Russian-speaking cultural and educational centers and night schools in different cities of the country, as well as in Russian language courses at the RCC.

On April 5, a book presentation, "My zaefire" by the Israeli journalist and radio host Lior Gan took place in the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv
The event was moderated by well-known journalist and radio presenter at "Voice of Israel" (Radio REKA) Pauline Kapsheeva (Lior Gan).
The book was published under the auspices of the Jewish International Charitable Foundation (STMEGI, Moscow).
.Publication of the book was done within the cultural-educational project "Russian word in Israel", which was initiated by Katherina Genieva , well known in Russian cultural scene, for many years she headed the All-Russian State Library Divison of Foreign Literature named after MI Rudomino.

The presentation of the "Teacher of the Year 2015" award took place on March 31,2016 in the Performing Arts Center in Ashdod.

The III Compatriots Russian language Olympics among pupils completed.
The final round among schoolchildren,organized by the Israel Support Center for children's creativity and the Representation of Rossotrudnichestvo in Israel in support of the "Russian world", was held on March 22 at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv.
According to the organizers of the competition the Olympics, every year interest among students, teachers and parents,is increasing, indicating a growing desire to preserve the Russian language among the younger generation of Russian-speaking Israelis.

Private screening of the new Israeli film "Castle in the sand" at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv
March 17 at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv, Israel a private screening of the short film "Castle in the sand" was held for actors and participants in the shooting process.
The film was directed by the well-known Israeli director and producer Omri Levy. The film is made in Russian and is equipped with subtitles in Hebrew.
As a result, the casting for the lead role in the film, one of the students of Russian language courses at RCC was selected.
In the near future the premiere screening of the film to the public will take place at the Cinema Club of the Russian Cultural Center.

March 5 the Russian-language broadcast of radio station "Voice of Israel" (REKA) was dedicated to Agnes Barto within the children broadcast program. Reporter Viktoria Dolinskaya hosted another interactive lesson of the Russian language for children, together with the linguistic expert from the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv, Dr. Tatiana Yatsyuk.
- This is a joint project of the Israeli radio and the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv, which is attended by young listeners between the ages of 3 to 15 years.
