The exhibition presents the work of women: painters, sculptors and craftsmen.
The exhibition will display arts and crafts fair products and participating master classes .

III Russian language Olympiad among Israeli schoolchildren will be held
The Olympiad is held jointly with the Israel children's art support center together, the Russian Cultural Center, with the support of the "Russkiy Mir Foundation (Russian world)".
A special commission of three teachers of the Russian language evaluates performance of tasks.
The
Winners of the Olympic Games in each age group will be awarded with diplomas, medals and valuable gifts. Grand Prix is a ticket to the International Children's Camp seminar to study the Russian language, history and culture of Russia (Israel).
Olympiad winners will have the opportunity to go to Russia in the framework of a cultural and educational project "Hello, Russia!".
In the Central District the Olympic Games will take place in the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv at 38, Geula St..

The presentation will be attended by Chairman of the Union of Russian Writers of Israel, a writer, journalist and translator ,Yuri Muradov-Moore, executive secretary of the Union, writer and literary critic Leonid Finkel and the authors of the almanac.

Israel celebrated the 27th anniversary of the complete withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan
On February 12, the eve of the 27th anniversary of the complete withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan a memorial meeting and laying of flowers was held in Ashdod at the country's only monument dedicated to the soldiers who fought in Afghanistan.
Representatives of embassies and military attaches from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the municipality of Ashdod, public organizations, associations of veterans and disabled war veterans, soldiers who had fought in Afghanistan now living in Israel, had gathered in Ashdod to honor the memory of the fallen soldiers and officers who were carrying out their international duty, and to wish the veterans who had passed through the fire of the Afghan campaign,health.

3 Feb 2016 - Russian Federation Council delegation on official visit to Israel,
During the official visit of the Russian Federation Council delegation to Israel, Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko laid a wreath at the memorial in honor of the victory over Nazi Germany and the monument to the soldiers of the Red Army in Netanya.
In a solemn memorial ceremony attended by members of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Knesset, the leaders of veterans' associations, representatives of public organizations of compatriots.
Valentina Matviyenko, in an interview with RIA Novosti said:
"And for Russia, and for Israel attempts to bury the feat of our fathers, to rewrite history and the results of the bloodiest war in human history are unacceptable . We actively oppose Holocaust denial tries, rehabilitation and glorification of Nazism, against any extremism in religious and ethnic violence and, above all - international terrorism ".
According to Valentina Matviyenko, Russia and Israel - two equal partners, which demonstrate the high efficiency of cooperation in key areas of international policy and bilateral cooperation.

On 6 February 2016 - Radio REKA (Voice of Israel) broadcasted a special edition of the Russian language children program "Once - in a word, twice - in a word," on the eve of the Day of Remembrance of Alexander Pushkin.
The Broadcast was conducted jointly by Tatiana Yatsyuk
,philologist and specialist in the Russian language from the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv and journalist Victoria Dolinskaya, a Radio REKA moderator.
The interactive Russian language lesson was dedicated to the life and works of the genius of Russian literature.
The winners of the International Olympiad of young people in various areas of science, organized by the NRU "Higher School of Economics" (Moscow) - Israeli high school students of schools and Jan Jacob Ulitsky Podgortseva, were guests of the studio .
The program coordinator in Israel of the Olympiad Ekaterina Angelova took also part in the program. She noted the great success of Israeli schoolchildren, who for the first time took part in the competition.
Pushkin's poems, loved by many generations of compatriots, were read during the broadcast. Young listeners answered the quiz questions on Pushkin's works.
The winners of the literary contest traditionally get prizes - children's books in Russian from the fund of the Russian Cultural Center.
